Aspire is looking for a cause-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to serve in a database administrator role as our full-time Data Services Specialist. Use your amazing administration and data management skills to improve donor relations, drive data-driven results, and move our mission of inclusion forward!
The Data Services Specialist will support team members by executing gift processes and procedures, generating lists and reports to support annual fundraising targets, and managing Aspire’s CRM database. You will report directly to the Director of Grants & Impact Philanthropy.
Position Responsibilities:
- Daily management of Aspire’s CRM database including ensuring that data is updated, accurate, unduplicated, and organized.
- Conduct gift entry and acknowledgement process in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Reconcile gifts reports with Finance department on monthly basis.
- Generate and manage customized CRM dashboards, mailing lists, and reports to support the needs of Philanthropy, Marketing/PR, and Enterprise teams.
- Provide training and support to team members on how to effectively and efficiently utilize CRM to achieve data-driven results, including serving as the point person for resolving technical CRM database issues.
- Identify opportunities to automate basic everyday tasks within the CRM database to increase efficiency organization-wide.
- Conduct wealth screening and prospect research to increase and expand donor base in alignment with the organization’s strategic fundraising goals.
- Analyze data related to donor solicitation and stewardship to identify giving trends and provide evidence-based recommendations to Philanthropy team.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience working with data analytic tools/software.
Additional Licensing/Certifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Attention to detail, specifically related to data analytics and copy writing.
- Ability to manage confidential information, multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and incoming requests.
- Proven record of experience utilizing analytical and problem solving skills
- Work effectively and collaboratively with team-members towards common goals.
- High level of typing accuracy and speed; a strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
- Treat all persons with dignity and respect.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar donor database software.
- Be familiar with and committed to Aspire’s mission, values, and vision.

Salary range between $23-$25/hour
