Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Advancement Services Manager, the Advancement Services Coordinator works with the Advancement Services Manager to provide support to the Institutional Advancement staff. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the donor database (Raiser's Edge), processing daily gifts and acknowledgments, assisting in the development of donor and volunteer pipeline through data analysis and prospect research and ultimately providing support for the fulfillment the Office of Institutional Advancement fundraising.
- Processes all donations and pledges daily.
- Manages receipt of and documentation for all in-kind gifts (event-related and capital/non-capital assets) received on behalf of College of DuPage.
- Creates and generates for signature daily gift acknowledgments, and monthly pledge reminders.
- Helps Safeguard the Foundation database (Raiser's Edge), and helps create a culture with staff that the database serves as a centralized record of all fundraising, prospect, scholarship, alumni, event and other related data.
- Researches prospects and generates profiles on an on-going basis, as requested by the Institutional Advancement staff or leadership.
- Maintains the confidentiality of the Institutional Advancement Office and represent the College of DuPage in a professional manner.
- Supports all Institutional Advancement initiatives as needed.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of the alumni, board and donor pipeline development and moves management system.
- Assist with developing and maintaining prospect pools for various campaign initiatives, helps conduct pool analysis to determine the strengths of prospect pools.
- Performs related and additional duties as assigned, including but not limited to the answering of phones and occasionally being required to work outside of regular office hours.
- May provide general support to the Institutional Advancement staff and work on special projects when required.
Qualifications:

Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Blackbaud Raiser's Edge Certification preferred.

Experience
- Three (3) years' experience in development or similar office setting required.
- Experience in development, education, or non-profit institution, as well as experience with prospect management preferred.
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge and related Blackbaud products preferred.
- General office environment.
- Ability to work in an open environment with high level of visibility; ability to interact well with senior management, faculty, students, and community members.
- Sitting for extended periods.
- This position requires a background check and drug screen.
Pay Grade:
Classified 11 Hourly- Hiring Range: $22.00 - 24.00
