What You’ll Do
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high functioning development team in all facets of our philanthropy program
- Drive CEL’s strategic philanthropy objectives to meet or exceed a $2.7M fundraising goal
- Work closely with board to achieve fundraising goals
- Create annual and long-term development plans and implement measurable objectives
- Monitor and report out on budget and revenue targets to ensure positive outcomes
- Develop new and nurture existing relationships that culminate in success
- Serve as spokesperson for CEL and maintain strong community presence
What You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum 7 years of firsthand, results-driven experience in fundraising
- Experience in planned giving strategy and implementation
- Strong working knowledge of RE/NXT or equivalent CRM database; understanding of Data points and reports to drive and meet targeted goals
- Proven success in soliciting Major Gifts and Managing campaigns
- Ability to build strong relationships within and outside of an organization
- Demonstrated skill in donor prospecting, cultivation, and matching donor needs and interests
- Experience in developing, overseeing, and measuring goals for Development team
- Highly effective and excellent communication skills with strength in written, interpersonal, conversational, and presentation skills
What You’ll Get
- Salary based on experience and demonstrated success: $115,000 - $135,000
