Program Description
Learn about how to put data and your organization's mission to work in fundraising. Have you ever heard of a "Theory of Change"? Does your organization have one? Do you use it in sharing the impact of donor's support?
Susie will share what a Theory of Change is, trends in evaluation, and how it can impact your fundraising work. She will also discuss how you can evaluate programming and share outcome measures when you have limited resources and time.

Susie Pratt, Founder & Principal at Pratt Richards Group
Susie is a writer, speaker and strategist with over twenty years of experience in the sector. In her role as both teacher and trainer, as well as thought partner, she has helped numerous clients live out their mission with increased clarity and efficacy. Susie’s early career experience in both research and evaluation, as well as fundraising, has allowed her insight into the operating reality of nonprofit organizations. It has also increased both her understanding of, and admiration for, the people who run them.
Susie holds a B.A. from Colgate University with Honors in English Literature and an A.M. from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration. She is on the board of the Franklin Square Foundation and Evanston’s Books and Breakfast program. Susie’s book, More or Less: Essays from a Year of No Buying, won the EastOver Press Nonfiction Prize and was published by EastOver in February 2022.
